Members of the Vestry at St. Andrew’s play a key role in defining and supporting the future of the church. They are the authoritative lay body, responsible for the financial well-being and the property of the church.
Vestry members are elected by the congregation at our Annual Meeting held in February each year. Each of the eight members, except for the Priest, serves for staggered one, two or three years. The Vestry meets monthly to consider important matters, such as the church budget, building projects, personnel needs and more.
Vestry members in 2023-24 include:
At St. Andrew’s, the Stewardship Ministry relies on the giving and grateful hearts of our congregation to help ensure a bright future for our church and ministries. Each fall, we hold a Stewardship Campaign, emphasizing the importance of completing pledge cards for purposes of planning the church budget.
Year after year, our parishioners respond with generosity in supporting their spiritual home. They also willingly donate their time and talents for the good of the church. In 2020-21, Pete Churchwell led the Stewardship Campaign

St. Andrew’s is blessed with a beautiful facility in which to worship, fellowship and learn. That doesn’t happen by accident; many people have involved in creating and maintaining our building and adjoining property.
We are proud of our facility with its new sanctuary, narthex, common room, kitchen and more. In addition, St. Andrew’s is surrounded by a spacious landscape set on a knoll east of Grove, featuring an outdoor Memorial Garden, a community vegetable garden, play space for children, and outdoor barbecue patio.
The Building & Grounds committee, headed in 2021 by Alan Smith, invites volunteers to join in the effort to maintain our beautiful spaces.
